the twenty-something

I love to bake and try new recipes that maybe I’m not experienced enough for. Normally, everything turns out very edible, if not delicious. But it almost always looks amazing.

I know this is weird and maybe there’s some official “don’t do that” rule out there, but nothing makes me want to go home and bake more than when I score a handy kitchen utensil at a thrift store. My favorite buy so far has been my sifter.

I’m scatterbrained, my memory isn’t too sharp, and I overthink most things, but its me and I live with me so I’m learning to love me everyday.

I listen to Nat King Cole, the Andrew Sisters or Frank Sinatra when I cook. It reminds me of watching my mother do the same.

I love dense but simple bundt cakes, thin crust supreme pizza, earl grey cambrics, and maple anything.
